Our Team

Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow

Supernova Consulting was founded by the late Rob Knapp in the 1990's, during his tenure as a Divisional Director at Merrill Lynch. Supernova's innovative approach quickly caught the attention of Harvard Business School, where a case study deemed its model the most effective, efficient, and forward-thinking method for driving growth within financial advisory practices. After 30 years and thousands of practice transformations, that theory still rings true.

In 2024, Supernova was purchased by Tim Byrnes, a long-time Supernova advocate and 30-year wire house veteran. In its new phase of ownership, Supernova remains committed to the core principles it was born from, with a commitment to innovatively evolving with the needs of the business.
