Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I enable the Macros?

    At the top left of your screen (see ex. 1), press options. A popup will appear (see ex. 2) and you will need to select "Enable this content." Hit ok and the macros will be enabled.

  • What version is this?

    This is the Supernova V7 UBS 2003 - Updated v20120124

  • Do the COI and BODM dates must be in ascending order?

    Yes, otherwise the lookups will not include the appointment if it finds a latter appointment before and earlier appointment by date. This does not apply to times.

  • Do the Prospecting Social Network and Niche items show?

    No, they are only for planning currently and do not show on the Monthly, Weekly or in Outlook Calendars.

  • Do the Prospecting appointments that land on the 5th week show?

    No, as the 5th week in any month is not shown, please schedule these in the first 4 weeks like you would with any other appointment with a client or butler.

  • Why don't Prospects, COIs, BODMs, and MMs show in the count?

    They only show in the count if a date has been set, conversely, if you set a date, but not a time or contact it WILL COUNT.

  • Why won't the data I entered on the Prospecting Appointment Tab show up on the monthly tab?

    You must 'reset' the monthly tab page by changing the month for the data to show. (ex. Select January to January or January to February)

  • Why might I get an error message after entering data in the prospecting Apt. Tab (under the COIs) and updating the Monthly Calendar?

    Verify that all appointments are in chronological order.

  • Why do I get an error message when I go to the current week view and try to enter the information into Outlook?

  • When I download the file into Outlook why does it go to my calendar and not my Advisor's?

    If you are using the 2003 Version of Excel and Outlook the information is downloaded into the default calendar, and you must 'drag it' to another calendar. 


    If you are using the 2007 or 2010 version of Excel and Outlook you can specify the calendar you want the information to flow into.

  • When I create a client or butler card can I change the information in it?

    You can change the information, but it will not change the spreadsheet or your Outlook appointments. The best practice would be to copy and paste the Client/Butler card into a new spreadsheet and change it from there.

  • I forgot and tried to change a name/time in the monthly tab and now I am getting an error message?

    You need to start over with a fresh spreadsheet

  • I had to start over with a new or updated spreadsheet. Can I copy and paste the information from my old one into the new one?

    You can only copy and paste the client's names (by day) into the new spreadsheet. All the other information must be added manually.

  • What is the best way to add/change/delete a client?

    Use the add/delete/change in the Supernova tools in the menu bar

  • I forgot the password to unprotect the sheets, what is it?

    The password '1242' is located on the front page of the spreadsheet for your reference

  • How does my advisor know to review his niches/social networking tools if it does not show up on his calendar?

    You can print out the Prospecting APT tab for him each month. You can also manually enter it on his calendar. 

  • Why can I only schedule 3 butlers in a time period?

    So that you fill the hour for the year (3 Butlers x 4 contacts = 12 months)
